Ponca City Senior High School

On Tuesday morning, the Ponca City Police Department responded to Po Hi after threats were reported against a student. Threats began the night before on social media and the threats continued on Tuesday morning while the students were at school.

The victim reported the incident to the school at that time. The other student left the high school and threatened to come back, with an accomplice, to cause harm to the victim.

A short time later, the Po Hi School Resource Officer noticed the suspect student coming back to the high school and confronted him, along with an accomplice, at the main entrance to the building.

The High School was placed on lockdown while other Officers responded. The lockdown was lifted once PCPD Officers took the two suspects into custody and confirmed no firearms or weapons were present.

Charges are pending on both juvenile suspects.
