Chamber’s Young Employees group meeting Thursday

The Ponca City Area Chamber recently started an organization called Ponca’s Young Employees (PYE).

The group’s first event is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Spanky’s Pub, 1006 South Waverly Street. PYE will have socializing, shuffleboard and snacks. Prizes will be awarded. Spanky’s is entirely nonsmoking.

This group, aimed at attracting and retaining young employees in the area, will provide networking and professional development opportunities to employees between the ages of 21-40 and who are employed by a Chamber of Commerce member.
