Ponca City Now - April 17, 2015 9:22 am

Rich Cantillon with the Ponca City Chamber of Commerce says he has received word that Moges Bekele, Chamber Executive with the Ethiopia National Chamber, will not be able to come to the United States.

"He was unable to get a visa," Cantillon said . "Ethiopia is losing a lot of young people to the United States and has cracked down on issuing visas to single young people.

"We were looking forward to working with the Ethiopian National Chamber and with Moges," Cantillon said. "I have gotten to know Moges through email and he is a bright, energetic young person. It would have been amazing.

"We had a great time working with Kipson from Zimbabwe and Milos from Serbia," Cantillon said . "I wish we could have added Moges to our list!"
