The Ponca City Chamber Board of Directors will make a goodwill visit to the Moore Chamber of Commerce this week.

The purpose of the goodwill trip is to learn from the Moore Chamber. During the day we will have speakers from the Chamber, Economic Development, City of Moore and from their tourism department.

During these goodwill trips we want to learn what their goals are and what their issues are. We like to learn things they do well and things they may struggle with. Then we hope they will visit Ponca City next year and learn from us.

In the past we have made goodwill visits to Bartlesville, Stillwater, Enid, Norman, El Dorado, Durant, Muskogee, Broken Arrow and other cities in Oklahoma and Kansas.

Also, this week we will meet with the Department of Tourism on projects taking place to promote Oklahoma and Ponca City. It is very important that we partner with the Oklahoma Department of Tourism.
