We will have a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new Hunter Accounting and Tax Office Tuesday at 10 a.m. Tuesday. This Ribbon Cutting will be held at the Chamber Office. Then on Thursday we will have another Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 2 p.m. for the new Green Law Office located at 121 E. Grand Avenue. Please join us and thank these businesses for their investment in Ponca City and for creating additional jobs for our great city.

If you are a Chamber member please sign up for our PRIDE Training on quality customer service.  Our next session will be Friday, Feb. 16, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Chamber Office. This training is free for Chamber Members and includes lunch.  Please phone the Chamber Office at 765-4400 to RSVP.  Seating is limited.

This week our Community Development Committee will meet. Here is some information on this active committee:

Objective: Encourage and actively support the development of a comprehensive commercial and public infrastructure system (streets, highways, air and rail service, etc.) that promotes growth, educates our community and enhances the quality of life in our region.

Membership: Open to any Chamber member

Goals: To collaborate on common issues with federal, state, regional, city, education and county officials.

To advocate for a comprehensive multi-modal transportation system (streets, highways, trails, public transportation, air and rail service).

To support recreation improvements for Ponca City citizens.

To encourage continued improvements to Highway 77 from Newkirk to the Kansas border toward becoming at least a Super 2 Highway.

Meeting Date: 3rd Thursday – 10:00 a.m., Chamber Office
