Brown elected Mayor in Newkirk

Newkirk voters elected Walter Kirk Brown Mayor of Newkirk in Tuesday’s election.

Brown received 110 votes from Kay County Precinct 360001, compared to 10 votes for Roy Dietrich.

The Kay County Election Board said  the election results do not include provisional ballots, so are incomplete. The results are unofficial until 5 p.m. Friday, April 6.
