Bowling tournament to benefit Hospice of North Central Oklahoma

“Strike It Up for Hospice!” a benefit tournament for Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, is set for two sessions on Saturday, March 7, at Ponca Bowl.

The first adult squad will bowl at 2 p.m., with the second adult squad at 6 p.m.

Deadline  to enter is Friday, Feb. 28.

Cost is $100 per five person team, or $20 per individual. Each team will bowl three games with free shoe rental. Bowlers will use their current average as of entry time plus handicap.

Adult awards will be announced on Facebook the following week.

The first place team will win plaques and there will be cash prizes for first, second and third place teams.

Individual awards will be given for the person (1 per bowler) for:

  • High game scratch
  • High series scratch
  • High game handicap
  • High series handicap
  • Perfect 300 game.

A bowling ball will be donated by Ponca Bowl to be raffled off during the tournament.

There will also be a 50/50 pot drawing.

Bowlers must report 30 minutes before the squad’s start time. Any player or team arriving after the game has started will be allowed to bowl, but the score will start on the frame currently being played. There will be no scores for missed frames.
