Ashley Dawn Peterson, 25, of Blackwell,  was granted an OR bond in Kay County District Court on Tuesday and released from the Kay County Detention Center.

Peterson was charged June 22 with felony child neglect after former convictions of two or more felonies and with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamine) after former convictions of two or more felonies (a felony).

The OR bond was granted on the condition that Peterson be subjected to random urinalysis tests and daily phone reporting to jail administration, according to court records.

Her case has been set for a status docket on Sept. 1.

Peterson was held in the detention center on a probable cause warrant for possession of methamphetamine and child endangerment, after her 11-month-old daughter ingested drugs at a motel room in the 1400 block of East Bradley Avenue.
