Blackwell Police seek information in Dairy Queen burglary

BLACKWELL — The Blackwell Police Department was contacted by the owners of the Dairy Queen on Tuesday morning, May 8,  reporting the business had been burglarized. The Dairy Queen is located at 801 South Main Street in Blackwell.  BPD is asking for assistance from the public to identify the suspect in these surveillance pictures.

The owners arrived at the business and saw the back door was open.  They also found the cooler door was open. A tool set was left behind by the burglar within the business. Pry marks were located on the back door of the business and video from a surveillance system was retrieved.  The time stamped surveillance shows the suspect, a Caucasian male, forcibly entered the back door of the business Monday, May 7 at approximately 11:50 p.m. 

At the time of the burglary, the suspect was wearing a dark shirt, blue jeans, gloves, and gray and white shoes.
