Blackwell municipal candidates to file

Candidates for municipal office in Blackwell file Declarations of Candidacy beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4, 2017.
Cheryl Howard, Secretary of the Kay County Election Board, said filing period ends at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6.
Declarations of Candidacy will be accepted at the County Election Board office for the following Board of Commissioner’s offices in Blackwell.
Councilor Ward #3, a 3 year term
Councilor Ward #4, a 3 year term
A General Election for the City of Blackwell, Oklahoma, will be held on April 3, 2018, for the two positions and a Primary Election, if necessary, will be held on Feb. 13, 2018.
