Blackwell Fire Department Discovered Deceased Male at Structure Fire

Blackwell Police Dept.-
The Blackwell Fire Department was called to a structure fire at 523 N. Main St. at 11:06 am Wednesday.
During the operation, firefighters discovered a deceased male within the premises.
Investigators from the Blackwell Police Department, the Oklahoma Fire Marshall’s Office, and the Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s Office were called to the scene to conduct a thorough investigation.
The cause of death is currently under investigation, and the identity of the deceased is being withheld pending identification by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
This investigation remains active, and further information will be made available as the investigation progresses.
