Bicyclist injured in accident dies

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that Trenton Hayes Riff, 23, of Ponca City, has died of injuries he suffered when his bicycle was struck by a vehicle on Aug. 12.
Riff had been transported to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. The Highway Patrol was notified Tuesday afternoon that he had died on Aug. 18.
The accident occurred Aug. 12 on Waverly Street, three-tenths of a mile south of South Avenue. Riff’s bicycle was struck by a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Pamela Tayrien, 67, of Bartlesville, OK. She was not injured.
