Lincoln Elementary School and West Middle School both recently received donations from the Ponca City Aviation Foundation.

Steve McGuire, Chairman of the Charitable Giving Committee of the Ponca City Aviation Foundation, presented a $500 Wal-Mart card to Lincoln Assistant Principal Dawn Mills. The money is intended to be used for classroom supplies, clothes or similar needs for students.

West Middle School used the donated money to purchase shoes and binders for students in need.

The Ponca City Aviation Foundation focuses its resources on the youth of Ponca City and the north central region. All of the money they provided is derived from the fly-in breakfasts at the Ponca City Airport they host on the first Saturday of every month. The public is encouraged to participate in these fly-in breakfasts.
