ATM robbery suspects from Houston arrested, face multiple charges in Oklahoma

WARR ACRES, OKLA (KOKH) — The Warr Acres Police Department (WAPD) arrested three Houston men for robbing an ATM and beating an employee who was servicing the ATM.

According to WAPD, the robbery occurred at approximately 9:26 a.m. on Dec. 11.

Officers were dispatched to a Bank of America where the victim stated that, while he had been servicing the ATM, two subjects with ski masks approached him and demanded he give them money.

The victim refused their commands, and they began beating him.

The suspects fled the area on foot.

Oklahoma City Police Department (OKCPD) officers located a rental vehicle from Houston, TX on FLOCK cameras in the robbery area.

Because of OKCPD’s previous knowledge that crews from Texas have been committing these crimes recently, officers immediately began a search for the vehicle.

Three occupants of the vehicle were stopped on I-35 and taken into custody.

WAPD served a search warrant on the vehicle and located multiple items used in the robbery.

The three suspects were identified as 19-year-old John Perry, 22-year-old Cortez Martin, and 33-year-old Tyrone Jones.

All three suspects were booked into the Oklahoma County Jail for robbery and conspiracy charges.
