SULPHUR — A suspect in the homicide and attempted homicide Friday night is under arrest.

Saturday morning, Sulphur police officers arrested Crystal Renae Berryhill, 31, at a friend’s home in the 100 block of Tulsa Street in Sulphur.

Berryhill was booked into the Murray County jail for first degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon.

Berryhill and homicide victim Jose Devora were in a dating relationship. Conrade Hernandez, who was badly injured, was Devora’s roommate.

It is believed both men were stabbed multiple times inside their home Friday evening.
