ARKANSAS CITY, Kan. The Arkansas City Police Department will be conducting a “check lane” on Saturday in Arkansas City, in conjunction with partner agencies.

Officers will be looking for impaired drivers or anyone operating a vehicle without a valid license.

We remind all drivers to be safe when operating a vehicle,” said Police Chief Dan Ward. “And always have a legally licensed designated driver.”

ACPD will be assisted Saturday by the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office and Kansas Highway Patrol.
