OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — The Oklahoma State Department of Health reports another 1,147 confirmed coronavirus cases in Oklahoma and four additional deaths due to COVID-19, the illness caused by the virus. The department on Saturday reported 63,187 cases and 850 deaths, up from 62,040 cases and 846 deaths on Friday.

The actual number of cases in Oklahoma is likely higher because many people have not been tested, and studies suggest people can be infected and spread the virus while not feeling sick.

The department also reported 9,597 active cases and that 52,740 people recovered.
