Po-Hi Honors Veterans

The Ponca City High School held a special assembly this week for Veterans to coincide with Celebrate Freedom Week in Oklahoma.

The week consisted of a school-wide assembly on Veterans Day.

Throughout the week classes covered various topics from Veterans Day to the Declaration of Independence.

For the assembly, Veterans dressed in their uniforms and they had student boy scouts perform the color guard for the flag.

The Po-Hi band played the National Anthem and everyone sang.

Two local Veterans spoke to the student body and the crowd observed a moment of silence for all the fallen Veterans.
