AMBUCS break ground for Sutton Memorial Pavilion

The April 1 groundbreaking for the John and Mary Sutton pavilion at Lake Ponca.

Members of the Ponca City Ambucs were joined by David and Marty Sutton, center front with shovel, at the ceremonial goundbreaking for the Sutton Memorial Pavilion.

The pavilion will be constructed at AMBUC Park at Lake Ponca, in honor of their mother and father, John and Mary Sutton.

The pavilion will be a great addition to AMBUC Park at Lake Ponca, providing a protected area for picnics, birthday parties, and shade while watching kids play in the adjacent Doug Nickles Memorial Playground.

AMBUCS continue to raise money to fund the pavilion. They have raised over half of the money, but would love your help to finish the funding project. You can mail your donation to:
