Alexia Klinger chosen Wildcat of the Week

Superintendent Shelley Arrott, Alexia Klinger, and Po-Hi Principal Thad Dilbeck.

The Heather Cannon Wildcat of the Week is Po-Hi Senior Alexia Klinger.

“Alexia holds qualities that represent the Ponca City Wildcats in the most positive manner,” Superintendent Shelley Arrott said. “It is impressive how she constantly strives to excel in everything she participates in. She has been a dedicated Po-Hi Stepper for four years and works very hard to continually push herself to improve. She also dedicates herself to her studies by having an excellent work ethic as she maintains great grades, is on the honor roll, and is a member of the National Honor Society. She is very disciplined with being in control of her life and decisions.

“Alexia has perfect attendance at school this year, and she has missed very few days of school during her entire school career. Having such great attendance is no easy feat and takes great discipline to make the choice to push herself to be as present as possible in order to enhance opportunities for the rest of her life,” Arrott said.

“Alexia plans to attend Oklahoma State University and focus on pre-med and then pursue a doctorate in plastic surgery. Even though she is a quiet person, she is always polite, respectful, and caring toward others. I have known Alexia since she was in elementary school as I was her principal at Union Elementary. Alexia has been demonstrating the characteristics of the Wildcat Way before she even knew there was a Wildcat Way,” Arrott said

“Alexia, I am proud of you for modeling the Wildcat Way without even thinking about it! I so appreciate you representing our school with such positivity, and I know you will be successful with anything you choose to do in life!”
