Accident reported at intersection of Kildare and Pecan

First responders from Newkirk, Kildare, and Ponca City along with a medical helicopter responded to a two-vehicle accident that was reported at 2:37 p.m. on July 4th at the intersection of Kildare Road and Pecan Road.

According to Kildare fire chief Travis Harris, nine people were involved in the accident. One was airlifted to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas and four were transported to Alliance Health in Ponca City.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is conducting the investigation into the accident.
