City posts holiday closings

The City of Ponca City will observe Thursday, December 24, and Friday, December 25, as City Holidays:

  • Residential Refuse WILL NOT BE PICKED UP on Thursday, December 24, or Friday, December 25, and will RESUME Monday, December 28. Contact David Horinek, Solid Waste Superintendent, at 767-0411.
  • The Recycling Center will be CLOSED on Thursday, December 24, and Friday, December 25, and will REOPEN on Saturday, December 26. Contact David Horinek, Solid Waste Superintendent, at 767-0411.
  • The Landfill will be CLOSED on Thursday, December 24, and Friday, December 25, and will REOPEN on Saturday, December 26. Contact David Horinek, Solid Waste Superintendent, at 767-0411.
  • The Library will CLOSE at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, December 23, and REOPEN at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 27. Contact Holly LaBossiere, Library Director, at 767-0345.
  • Marland’s Grand Home will be CLOSED on Thursday, December 24, and Friday, December 25, and will REOPEN on Saturday, December 26. Contact David Keathly, Marland Estate Manager, at 767-0420
  • The Marland Mansion and Estate will be CLOSED on Thursday, December 24, and Friday, December 25, and REOPEN on Saturday, December 26. Contact David Keathly, Marland Estate Manager, at 767-0420.
  • Lew Wentz Memorial Golf Course will be OPEN on Thursday, December 24, CLOSED on Friday, December 25, and will REOPEN on Saturday, December 26. Contact Rod Alexander, Golf Pro, at 767-0433.
