POP-UP Art Show Saturday as part of Holiday Happenings

The Ponca City Art Center is hosting the "POP-UP Art Show" from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, as part of the citywide Holiday Happenings weekend.

Local artists from across Oklahoma will sell handmade, unique Christmas gifts. Art will include blown glass, hand made stationery, locally made soaps and candles, metal art, gift sized paintings, ceramic art, mixed media, handmade jewelry, prints and more.

There will be a free children’s art activity upstairs and baked goods will also be on sale, with proceeds from the bake sale benefitting the Ponca City Art Center. Free gift wrapping will be available on request.

Artists slated for this year’s POP-UP Art Show are Shane Glover, Southwest Silhouettes; Susan and Scott Austin, Mud and Metal; Kris Fairchild, Twisted Art and Wand Shoppe; Jannie Ross, Fine Painting; Whimsy, handmade items by clients of the Opportunity Center; Amber Garza, Lucky Lulu Jewelry; Connie Christopher, Blown Glass Art; and Shirley Petersen, Fine Painting.
