Pet adoption event begins Wednesday

Ponca City Now - December 7, 2015 12:40 pm

The Home for the Holidays Adoption Event begins Wednesday, Dec. 9, at the Ponca City Humane Society.

ALL pet adoption fees will be discounted in efforts to find loving homes for ALL of the animals at the facility! smile emoticon

People seeking to adopt a new pet will draw a card to get an adoption discount between 25 percent and 75 percent. Additional discounts can be obtained by donating an item off our Home for the Holidays Wish List.

Furthermore, the adoption fee for cats over 5 months of age and dogs older than 2 years of age have the possibility of having their adoption fee completely waived at any time! All cats/kittens at the PetSense location will be discounted by 50 percent!

Thank you to Chuck and Suzie Greenwood for sponsoring the event.

To help us start off next year ahead of the game, for any adoption fee paid the amount will be MATCHED by our sponsor! Not only will you be helping save a life by adopting, but you will help us save another life in 2016.

It gets better. To facilitate finding homes for animals at Animal Control, we will open our foster to adopt program for them. We will do the same behavior and medical evaluations before placement in foster homes. smile emoticon

This is only possible through the generosity of the Greenwood family. Their dedication in helping save more lives and finding loving homes for as many animals is unprecedented.

Help keep the excitement going by sharing and helping spread the word. With more than 75 animals in our care, we can find loving homes for everyone during this holiday season.

Contact us at 580-767-8877, email us at [email protected], or stop by our facility at 900 W Prospect Ponca City, OK 74601 for more information or to find your next forever friend.
