Pop-Up Art Show Dec. 12

The Ponca City Art Center invites artists to participate in the upcoming "POP-UP Christmas Art Show" to be held on Dec. 12 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Ponca City Art Center. This event is part of the city-wide "Holiday Happenings" event.

This show is open to any artists or artisans in several categories, including Photography, Sculpture, Jewelry, Basketry, Fabric Art, Leather Art, Pottery/Ceramics, Candles and Soap, Fiber Art, Metal Art, Wood Art, Mixed Media, Clothing Art, Glass Art or Fine Painting (limited hanging space available).

This is a juried show. . Photos of work from up to three selected categories must be submitted for inclusion in this show. All work exhibited must be original art produced by the applying artist. No third party sales are allowed.

Booths are $40, with a $5 jury fee. The event will be held inside the Ponca City Art Center, and each booth comes with one six-foot table, two folding chairs and a 5’ x 3.5’ gallery hanging space (if requested). Entry forms can be picked up at the Ponca City Art Center at 819 East Central.

"The Ponca City Art Center has held holiday trunk shows in the past, and they were very popular. The POP-UP Christmas Art Show is the same concept, but with a new name." said Kelsey Wagner, Executive Director of the Ponca City Art Center.

Artists who have participated in trunk shows in the past at the Ponca City Art Center do not need to remit the jury fee.
