Man sought in counterfeit bill case

Police need the assistance of the public to identify the subject pictured.

This Caucasian male entered the Dollar General located in the 2900 block of North 14^th Street on Thursday, Oct. 29 just before 5 p.m. and made a small purchase with a counterfeit $100 bill. The bank notified the business the following day that the currency was bogus.

During that same week, Burger King located at 14^th and Prospect received another counterfeit $100 bill likely passed by this same subject.

This male is believed to be between 25 and 35 years of age with a thin to medium build, maybe 5’9” to 6’ tall with a short blonde type crew cut. At the time he was wearing jeans and a brown zippered hooded sweatshirt with a narrow, horizontal striping.
