Police advise of new phone scam

Ponca City Now - October 28, 2015 10:55 am

More than a dozen local residents have reported receiving a call or automated message this morning with someone representing themselves as being with the IRS.

These calls are bogus, the Ponca City Police Department advises. They are an attempt to gain your bank account information.

Do not return the call or provide any personal information to the caller, police said.
