Po Hi-Stepper Booster Club to host pre-game Homecoming dinner

The Po Hi-Stepper Booster Club will host the annual pre-game Homecoming dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25 in the Po-Hi Commons.

This is one of the Po-Hi Stepper Booster Club’s largest fundraisers of the year and is a popular community-wide event.

“The Homecoming dinner is a tradition at Po-Hi dating back to the 1970s,” said event chair Heather Monks. “It is a wonderful opportunity for graduates as well as community members to honor the long-standing tradition of enjoying a great meal at the high school”.

Affairs to Remember will cater the meal for the dinner. Sloppy Joe sandwiches, chips, baked beans, dessert and drinks will be served. Take-out trays are offered and welcome for those fans wanting to get to the stadium early for the pre-game queen coronation.

Guests are encouraged to enter the high school from the west main doors facing Fifth Street.

“The booster club has enough volunteers to get everyone through the line quickly” Monks said. “Come out and support this dedicated group of girls who proudly represent our community and our school.”

Tickets to the dinner are $10 and are available from any Po Hi-Stepper parent. Tickets may also be purchased at the door. To purchase tickets ahead of time, email Heather Monks at [email protected].
