Golf tournament to benefit Humane Society

Ponca City Now - September 17, 2015 1:46 pm

The 20th Annual "Pars 4 Pets" Charity Golf Tournament is scheduled for Sept. 26 at the Lew Wentz Golf Course.

Lunch will be at noon with tee time at 1 p.m.

All donations will go toward continuing the Ponca City Humane Society’s mission of saving more pet lives in our area. The ultimate goal is to help not only save a record number of animals (500 were saved last year), but also to help pay the $10,000 vet bill for 42 parvo casess and five heartworm dogs.

To help reach the goal, there are three ways to donate:

  • Hole sponsors (business or individuals) for $200.
  • Hole sponsor with a 4-player team, $500 (save $100).
  • Four-player teams at $100 per player. If you don’t have a team, please sign up for "one player" option and we will pair you with three other birdie-hunting golfers.

Bring extra cash for chances to win golf clubs, vacations and more. The cost is for 18 holes with a cart, lunch, refreshments and a gift bag.

For more information and to register, call Patricia Amador at (580) 767-8877 or Kasi Kenzie at (580) 763-0673.
