Fire on South Birch called arson

A fire reported at 2:43 p.m. Wednesday at 323 South Birch was determined to be an arson fire, Ponca City Police spokeswoman Sherry Bowers said Thursday morning.

She said the investigation is continuing.

The house was vacant and the same house was involved in a fire reported at 10:24 p.m. July 16, she said.
