Missing boy returns home after fire

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (AP) – Police say a 13-year-old boy who went missing after his Broken Arrow home caught fire has returned home.

According to a news release from the Broken Arrow Police Department, Devin Bacon went missing after a fire was reported at a residence around 7:30 p.m. Monday. Authorities say the fire caused extensive damage to the home, but no one was hurt.

Police say Bacon was found early Tuesday and returned safely.

The Broken Arrow Fire Department says the cause of the fire remains unknown, but a preliminary investigation indicates it was accidental.
