OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – A former Oklahoma City police officer accused of sexually assaulting 13 women remains in jail after his bondsman dropped him as a client.

The Oklahoman (http://bit.ly/1WF23XE ) reports that Daniel Ken Holtzclaw was released on a $609,000 bond and had been on house arrest since September. But his bondsman withdrew the bond after Holtzclaw violated the terms of his conditional release a second time last month.

Holtzclaw was ordered July 27 to spend 15 days in Oklahoma County jail for allowing his GPS ankle bracelet battery to go dead for nearly seven hours. Two days after being back in custody, Holtzclaw’s bondsman filed paperwork to retract the bond.

Holtzclaw is set for trial in October on 36 counts, which include rape. His attorney has said that Holtzclaw denies the accusations.
