TULSA, Okla. (AP) – Preliminary hearings for two brothers charged in the stabbing deaths of their parents and three siblings in suburban Tulsa have been moved up more than two weeks.

Court records show 18-year-old Robert Bever and his 16-year-old brother, Michael Bever, will have their preliminary hearings Oct. 9 in Tulsa district court. A judge had assigned the hearings for Oct. 28 when the teenagers initially appeared in court.

The brothers are charged with five counts of first-degree murder in the July 22nd attack at the Broken Arrow home. A judge has entered not-guilty pleas for them.

Killed were David Bever and his wife, April, along with their children, Daniel, Christopher and Victoria.

Authorities haven’t released a motive in the case.
