Renaissance plans child safety event Saturday

Renaissance of Ponca City, a senior living community at 2616 Turner Road, will hold a Children’s Safety Day Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Grandparents are invited to bring their grandchildren to the event sponsored by Renaissance, the Ponca City Police and Ponca City Fire Departments.

The Police Department will provide a bicycle safety course and the National Child ID program registration. Participation in the course includes being registered for a bicycle giveaway.

The Fire Department will provide car seat safety education.
