Fire vs. Police Blood Drive May 18

The Ponca City Fire Department and the Ponca City Police Department are holding a competitive blood drive with the Oklahoma Blood Institute on Monday, May 18.

The bloodmobile will be at Fire Station No. 1 at 500 East Grand Avenue from 9 a.m. to noon Monday and at the Ponca City Police Department on Third and Oklahoma from 2 to 5 p.m.

The blood drive is nicknamed "Guns and Hoses" and the winner will be the department that has the most donors on Monday.

Each donor will receive a limited edition T-shirt and two zoo admissions while supplies last. Or donors can forgo the T-shirt and support the Global Blood Fund.
