Luttrell Appointed to House Committee Leadership

OKLAHOMA CITY – Rep. Ken Luttrell, R-Ponca City, has been appointed by Oklahoma House Speaker Kyle Hilbert, R-Bristow, as chair of the House Appropriations & Budget Subcommittee on Select Agencies.
This is Luttrell’s second term chairing the committee, which oversees regulations, budgets and performance for 54 state agencies and commissions, including the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation, Oklahoma Turnpike Authority and Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission.
“I’m grateful to Speaker Hilbert for entrusting me with the responsibility of leading this important committee,” Luttrell said. “Our duty as lawmakers is to ensure that taxpayer dollars are managed responsibly. I look forward to driving efforts to ensure that Oklahomans’ hard-earned money is used wisely and with accountability.”

In addition to this position, Luttrell also serves as the vice chair of the House Energy Committee. He is also a member of the Energy & Natural Resources Oversight, Government Oversight and House Appropriations & Budget committees.
He also serves as co-chair of the Native American Caucus, co-chair of the Passenger Rail Caucus and chair of the Center for Legislative Energy and Environmental Research. Luttrell is a member of the House Veterans Caucus, the National Energy Council.
Rep. Ken Luttrell, a Republican, represents House District 37 in the Oklahoma House of Representatives. His district includes portions of Kay and Osage counties.
