Paco was born on April 15, 1976, in Blackwell, OK, to Francisco Villarruel II and Sharon Dayton. On May 14th, 2011, Paco married his best friend and the love of his life, Lacy. Their twenty-two years together were filled with immense love, adventure, and joy. He was very proud of the life they built. In Paco’s eyes, the sun rose and set for his “girls,” Lacy and Chloe. His world revolved around them. Day to day, Paco could be found working as a project manager, but he was an entrepreneur at heart. When he wasn’t at work or hitting the gym, Paco could be found spending time with his friends and family and loving on his dogs Bailey, Bubbalino, and King Draco.
His weekends were consumed with watching his daughter, Chloe, at cheer competitions. Paco was so proud to be a “cheer dad” and was Chloe’s biggest fan. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and was very passionate about his faith. After the news of his passing, Lacy and Chloe have been overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and memories that so many others shared with Paco. Chloe described his characteristics best: He was a caretaker, a man of humility, and a strong man with a big heart. The legacy he leaves behind is one of genuine kindness- something that we can all carry forward in Paco’s memory.
Paco is survived by: his wife, Lacy, of the home; daughter, Chloe Villarruel of Bartlesville, OK; brothers, Anthony “Tony” Villarruel, Marciano Villarruel, and Sergio Villarruel; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family members and friends. He was preceded in death by: infant daughter, Haylee Yasmina Villarruel; Father Francisco Villarruel II; Mother Sharon Dayton; and grandparents, Francisco, Sr and Maria Carmen (Zuniga) Villarruel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Northern Oklahoma Humane Society, 900 W Prospect Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.
