Pauletta Kay (Keller) Hunt, age 75, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024. A Graveside Ceremony will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.
Pauletta was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma, on December 19, 1948. She was raised by her parents Frank and Jessie Keller. In addition to her biological parents, Pauletta was also raised by her stepmother, Pauline Keller. Pauletta attended Ponca City High School and graduated in 1967. On November 11, 1967, Pauletta married the love of her life, Ron (Ronnie) Hunt. They had two children, Brandon and Cody. Pauletta, Ronnie, and the family enjoyed going on many adventures together, including traveling and camping.
Throughout her life, Pauletta was cherished for her remarkable warmth and kindness-qualities that deeply touched the hearts of everyone around her. Known for her generous and vibrant spirit, she had a unique ability to make anyone feel welcome, embodying the phrase, “I’ve never met a stranger.” Pauletta’s spirit was reflected in her lively personality and infectious laughter, which brought light and joy to even the dullest of days. She had a remarkable gift for brightening the lives of those around her. One of Pauletta’s greatest passions was her dedication to caring for animals. She spent countless hours caring for animals in need and would never let them go without. She believed every animal deserved love and attention.
Pauletta is preceded in death by her biological parents, Frank and Jessie, stepmother Pauline, son Brandon, and sister Kathy, and brother Frankie. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ronnie; sister Connie, son Cody; grandchildren Dacoda, Avery, and Oakley; three great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law Judy.
In remembrance of Pauletta, the family asks that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to Northern Oklahoma Humane Society, 900 W. Prospect, Ponca City, Oklahoma 7461.
