Oklahoma Department Of Corrections Searching For Escaped Inmate Sentenced for Robbery in Kay County

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections is searching for an inmate who escaped from the Jim E. Hamilton Correctional Center in Hodgen on Tuesday evening.

Officials say Archie Eagle disappeared around 6:40 p.m. Eagle was serving a five-year sentence for robbery in Kay County.

Authorities are urging the public not to approach Eagle if spotted.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
