November 7, 1957 – November 19, 2024

Olen Billy Butler, Jr., 67, of Enid, OK, passed away peacefully at his home on November 19, 2024. Viewing will be between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM, Sunday, December 1, 2024, with the family present from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Trout Funeral Home. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 2, 2024, at Trout Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave., Ponca City, OK, 74601.

Olen was born in Oklahoma City, OK, on November 7, 1957, to Olen Butler, Sr. and Emmer Gene Chambray Butler. Olen attended and completed school in California, before joining the Army. He relocated to Ponca City, where he met Tammi Jones. They later had three children. In 2004, he met Shannon. They relocated to Enid, and made their home there. Olen loved cooking, drinking his beer, and watching LHOTP. He also found much joy in his children and grandchildren. He will be remembered, and missed for the rest of our lives.

Olen is survived by: children, Nicholas, Kaila, Albany, Shawna, Shamell, and Olen, III; Tammi Butler; sister, Beverly; brother, Kevin; grandchildren, Jayce, Aviella, Emersyn, Haidyn, Kamryn, and Kensley; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss his presence. He is preceded in death by: his parents; sister, Loria Ann; life-partner, Shannon Mootz; and maternal and paternal grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles.
