Tulsa Discovery Lab To Transform Into Winter WonderLab For ‘Fire And Ice’ Season

Ch. 6 - November 8, 2024 6:07 am

From Dec. 3 through February, the Tulsa Discovery Lab will become the “Winter WonderLab,” featuring a new seasonal theme, “Fire and Ice.”

Visitors can look forward to activities and demonstrations focused on exciting scientific concepts like heat exchange, phase changes, combustion reactions, and gas laws. Each demo will illustrate these principles with interactive elements suitable for a range of ages.

Additionally, Discovery Lab is hosting Winter Wonder Camps for young scientists in Pre-K through 6th grade. These single-day camps will run on Jan. 2, 3, and 6, offering hands-on activities in chemistry, engineering, and coding.

It’s an excellent way for kids to explore STEM topics while engaging in interactive learning during the winter break.
