Pioneer Tech Employees Paint Mural With Local Artist

Ponca City, OK ——During August In-Service training, Pioneer Technology Center (PTC) employees teamed up to paint a colorful mural with the help of local artist, Theresa Sacket. The mural, designed as a paint-by-number by Sacket, showcases PTC’s core values: People, Innovation, Character, Learning, and Economic Development. It also highlights each of Pioneer Tech’s partner schools, bringing a strong sense of community to the artwork.

The mural can be seen near the west entrance of PTC, and it’s a symbol of teamwork and shared values. Theresa Sacket explained, “Using input from PTC, I wanted to create a design that reflected their values, color scheme, and gears. I also wanted something that all staff could enjoy painting, no matter their age. It was fun watching everyone come together to create a meaningful piece.”

Traci Thorpe, Pioneer Tech Superintendent/CEO, added, “We were thrilled to work with a local artist like Theresa to create such an inspiring piece. The project was a fun and collaborative team-building activity, and we hope the mural reminds every one of the possibilities that begin here at PTC.
