Michael Dean Hasselbring, 57, of Ponca City, OK, left this life on September 9, 2024. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 1, 2024, and 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, October 2, 2024, with the family present from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Trout Funeral Home. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Newpoint Church. Burial will immediately follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.

Michael was born on September 25, 1966, in Salisbury, Maryland, to Dannie David and Maxine M. (Wilks) Hasselbring. He attended school at Laurel Elementary, Laurel, DE, later went to Newkirk Elementary, and graduated from Newkirk High School. Following High School, Michael joined the US Marine Corps and served in desert storm.

Michael is survived by: his wife, Robin Sedam-Hasselbring of Ponca City, OK; mother, Maxine Hasselbring of Ponca City, OK; mother-in-law, Rachel Garrett (Larry) of Ponca City, OK; step-sons, Christian Marshall and William Marshall, both of Wichita, KS; step-daughter 13 of Ponca City, OK; six grandchildren; brothers, Mark Hasselbring of Ponca City, OK, Danny Hasselbring (Shelly) of Indiana, Randy Jackson (Sheila) of Ponca City, OK; sisters, Angela Shafer of Ponca City, OK, Erica Travers (Walt) of Hurlock, MD; brothers-in-law, Larry Harris of Tulsa, OK, Eugene Sedam of Ponca City, OK, Shawn Sedam of Arkansas City, KS, Arron Sedam of Arkansas City, KS; sisters-in-law, Roxanne Sedam of Fort Dodge, IA, Krystle Sedam of Winfield, KS, December Brown of Blackwell, OK; and grandmother, Sheila Flaker of Blackwell, OK.

Michael was preceded in death by: his father, Dannie Hasselbring; grandmothers, Mary Wilks and Ethel Hasselbring; and father-in-law, Eugene “Buddy” Sedam, and grandmother, Martha Ellen Goatley.

Pallbearers will be Mark Hasselbring, Dannie Hasselbring, Randy Jackson, Benjamin Buck, Eugene Sedam, Jr. and Mathew Green.
