Students Explore Automotive Mechanics at Pioneer Tech’s Summer Horsepower Academy

Ponca City, OK — Pioneer Technology Center (PTC) recently hosted the Summer Horsepower Academy, where students enjoyed four days of immersive learning about vehicle mechanics, from engine functionality to tire rotation. Brett Haas, from PTC’s Auto Service Technology program, provided students with invaluable hands-on experience, deepening their understanding of automotive systems.

During the academy, students engaged directly with automotive engines and other vehicle components, gaining practical skills and a comprehensive understanding of automotive technology. Brett Haas’s expert instruction ensured that participants left with a greater appreciation and knowledge of how vehicles operate.
