The Wagoner County Investigators and the District 27 Drug Task Force arrested 11 people for illegal dispensary sales.

According to the Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office, investigators received information that dispensaries within Wagoner County were operating illegally.

Based on those tips, an undercover investigation was conducted.

Each dispensary that investigators visited illegally sold to undercover agents who did not possess an Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority Card.

All 11 arrested were charged with Distributing Controlled Dangerous Substances; their bonds are set at $25,000.

“I understand that many of my constituents in Wagoner County legally possess an OMMA card and consume the products associated with the license,” Wagoner County Sheriff Chris Elliot said. “The Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office will never infringe on those rights that you have been granted by the State of Oklahoma or the United States Constitution. We will however aggressively pursue any business in Wagoner County that operates in any illegal manner.”
