Baccalaureate, Graduation, and Great Escape Information

Baccalaureate will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024 in the Concert Hall. Attendance for seniors is optional. If attending, seniors should wear their cap and gown. Graduates will need to arrive at 6:30 pm. The service will begin at 7:00 pm. No food or drink are allowed in the concert hall.

The Ponca City High School commencement ceremony for the Class of 2024 will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. A live feed of the graduation ceremony will be provided on poncacitynow.com/tv.

Graduates will park at the concert hall where a shuttle bus will transport them to the check in behind the visitor stands beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Only graduates will be permitted to enter the north visitor gate. Graduates will be seated in the visitor stands beginning at 7:00 p.m. A professional photographer will be provided during the ceremony. Guests will enter at the east and west gates.

Sullins Stadium gates will be locked until 12:00 p.m. on May 24th, 2024. Families may reserve seats at this time.

Due to construction, spectator parking on campus will be limited. Carpooling is recommended. Additional parking has been made available one block north at the former Edwin fair building as well as the First Lutheran parking lot.

In the event of inclement weather, the commencement ceremony will be held in the Robson Field House, May 24, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. This decision will be made by noon on May 24, 2024. If the ceremony is moved to Robson Field House, the announcement will be made on social media, local radio stations, and the senior and parent Remind group. In Robson Field House, only graduates and rain-out ticket holders will be allowed to enter. Each graduate received six rain-out tickets. The ceremony will be live streamed on poncacitynow.com/tv.

All Ponca City Public School graduating seniors are invited to attend the Great Escape celebration at Phillips 66 following the graduation ceremony. Seniors will need to bring their photo ID and ticket they received in their graduation packets.
