NOC Student Named to Oklahoma Indian Student Honor Society

Samantha Lee was named to the Oklahoma Indian Student Honor Society at Northern Oklahoma College..
Lee is a sophomore from Tonkawa.
Eligibility requirements for the honor society include attendance at an Indigenous high school, enrolled as an undergraduate/graduate student from an Oklahoma school, maintain a 3.9 GPA or higher, and have leadership experience in Native American Engagement.
Lee is now eligible for scholarships to be awarded this summer.
The mission of the Oklahoma Council for Indian Education is to advocate within the State of Oklahoma for Native American students. OCIE’s vision is to be the catalyst for the highest quality of education and to inspire outstanding success of Native American students and to respect Native tribal diversity.
Lee also works for NOC as a Scholarship Specialist at the Tonkawa campus.
