Kansas man injured in motorcycle accident

A Kansas man was injured in a one-vehicle motorcycle accident at 12:49 p.m. Sunday on State Highway 11 just east of Acker Hill Road in Kay County.

Creighton Cullop, 58, of Anthony, Kansas, was transported to Ponca City Medical Center Emergency Room by Ponca City EMS. He then was transported by Ponca City EMS to Via Christie Hospital in Wichita, when he was admitted in stable condition with head injuries. Teresa Culloop, 54, of Anthony, Kansas, was not injured. Cullop was travelling eastbound on SH 11 on a 2007 Yamaha motorcycle, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. The patrol’s report said he was travelling at an unsafe speed for the curve and left the roadway to the right.
