OFFICE ASSISTANT AT EDMOND DOCTOR’S OFFICE ARRESTED

An office assistant at an Edmond doctor’s office is accused of practicing medicine without a license.

Jessica Florencio-Marquez was arrested on multiple complaints including obtaining a controlled dangerous substance by forged prescription.

According to OBN, Florencio-Marquez used her employment to fraudulently obtain 12 prescriptions for Adderall.

Investigators say text messages show she planned to sell the narcotics.

The doctor sounded the alarm after finding missing paperwork.
