Nolan Ray Davis, 74, of Blackwell, OK, left this life on April 25, 2024. A Graveside Ceremony with military honors will be held at 12:00 PM, Thursday, May 9, 2024, at the Fordland Cemetery, Fordland, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 505 Thunderbird Rd, Tonkawa, OK, 74653.
Nolan was born on September 9, 1949, in Wichita, KS, to Frank and Helen (Ford) Davis. After high school, Nolan joined the US Army and was very proud to have served his county. He married Nancy Kleier on July 27, 2022, and spent 25 good years together. Nolan enjoyed his family, reading his Bible, and going to church. He loved the country and always wanted to live in the country. He enjoyed his grandkids and loved them very much. Nolan was the kind of person that would do anything for you, even give the shirt off his back. He never asked questions, and when you would ask him the question “What should I do?”, he would always say pray and do what God says and leads you to do.
Nolan is survived by: his wife, Nancy, of Blackwell, OK; sons, Gregory Davis and Jonathan Davis, both of Wichita, KS, Michael Greiner of Germany; daughter, Ashley Randolph Davis and her husband, Robert, of Wichita, KS; step-son, Michael Williams , Jr. and his wife, Kelly, of Illinois; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: step-son, William Williams; his parents, Frank and Helen; brothers, Charles Davis, Dennis Davis, and Arthur Davis.
